The Pet Peek, A Fence Porthole for your Pooch
via The UberReview by C. S. Magor on February 26, 2008
Dogs love to see what is going on around them, you always see them peering through whatever gaps that they can find in the fence to bark at whomever or whatever comes there way. While a simple solution would be to just cut a hole in the fence for them to look out of, that would probably be a recipe for disaster. Your typical canine is, unfortunately, not usually all that intelligent; they would...

Japan’s Vegesh, an Unlikely Combination of Vegetable Juice and Booze
via The UberReview by C. S. Magor on May 13, 2008
Vegesh is an alcohol and vegetable juice combination brought to us by the folks at Asahi, who are justifiably famous for their beer. Simply reading the combination of ingredients is likely to act as an emetic in some readers, you have been warned. It contains the following fruits and vegetables, which might be delicious in their own right, but together, well you tell me:CarrotAsparagusRed...

Pizza Scissors Make Cutting and Serving a Breeze
via The UberReview by C. S. Magor on February 11, 2008
We all have some goofy uncoordinated friend that we can’t quite trust with an exposed blade or freshly cooked pie. For such people, we now have Pizza Scissors and I must say, it is about time. As the name implies, Pizza Scissors are scissors for pizzas; presumably they can also work their magic on similarly tricky foods. What differentiates these from regular scissors is that when they are...

Give the Planet the Finger with the Alton F-650 XUV
via The UberReview by C. S. Magor on February 10, 2008
All those whiny environmentalists and their green cars get on my nerves every once in a while too. So what if the emissions from our motor vehicles are forming a gaseous blanket over the earth and making our planet warmer than it has any business being? Who cares if some people in low-lying countries will be left homeless or worse yet landless as the sea levels rise? Why would it bother me...

Charcoal BBQ Ready in 60 Seconds, Impossible you Say?
via The UberReview by C. S. Magor on February 14, 2008
I love the taste of a good charcoal barbecue, but I hate the effort that it takes to get the coals going. I did come up with a technique to speed up the process involving an electric fan mounted on a handle, but that only works if you are near a power point and have a spare electric fan lying around for cannibalism. The 60 Second Charcoal Starter is a much better idea and it will let you do...

Skip on Water Till you Run out of Puff with the AquaSkipper
via The UberReview by C. S. Magor on February 17, 2008
... water like a skimming pebble at a quoted maximum speed of 17 mph. Jumping up and down is a fairly demanding aerobic workout and I would hazard a guess that most people can’t keep it up for very long, so you might not want to stray too far from shore, lest you find yourself stranded and out of breath. It looks like fun, in a faddish sort of way.Price: $496 from Inventist.comSource: DVICE

Indestructible Ballistic Polymer Prairie Dog Great For Target Practice
via The UberReview by C. S. Magor on February 17, 2008
I am not sure if the ballistic polymer prairie dog featured above is actually indestructible, but it will handle anything that you can fire at it and presumably provides some entertaining target practice. If you look at the image it almost looks as though the little fella is begging for the pain to stop, or is he mocking you, you tell me. Considering the fact that you are getting a hulking wad...

Eagle Hovercraft, Twenty Different Kinds of Awesome
via The UberReview by C. S. Magor on February 18, 2008
The entry level hovercraft offered by Eagle Hovercraft will set you back about $10,000. That is not bad considering the fact that it will get you into a hovercraft that will seat one or two people and travel equally effortlessly over water or land. I am not sure how fast the entry level model will go, but if you step it up a notch to some of the sportier models, you will be flying across the...
