Alan Tudyk still Confident in Firefly: Serenity 2
via The Movie Blog by john@themovieblog.com (John Campea) on January 31, 2008
Alan Tudyk’s “Wash” was likely my favourite character on Firefly/Serenity and a real classy guy. So when MovieHole got Tudyk on the phone to chat, of course the topic of a sequel to Serenity was brought up. Alan is pretty hopeful that there will be a sequel despite the slap on the wrist he got for suggesting it would happen.Moviehole quotes Mr Tudyk“My opinion – I have to couch it...

Heath Ledger Died of “Accidental Overdose”
via The Movie Blog by john@themovieblog.com (John Campea) on February 05, 2008
... Ledger was in a world of turmoil if he was taking all that stuff at the same time, but evidently it was NOT suicide, but rather a tragic result of unintentionally over doing prescription medication. No need to drag this out. Ledger will be missed, and we all lament the loss of future performances he may have brought our way. At least now one less shadow can be cast over his tragedy.Share This

via The Movie Blog by john@themovieblog.com (John Campea) on February 25, 2008
Thank you so much to ropeofsilicon for hooking us up with this video. Gary Busey makes Seacrest and Garner very uncomfortable when he starts kissing! Check it out! This is what I get for watching ABC instead of E. I love watching Seacrest’s confusion in the face of a feral Busey, I may watch this video every day for a week. It makes me feel free. When Jennifer Garner got home I wonder if...

Revenue For Commercials Before Movies Goes Up Almost 20% - So Why Isn’t My Ticket Cheaper?
via The Movie Blog by john@themovieblog.com (John Campea) on June 17, 2008
This drives me totally insane. About 8 months ago I wrote an article entitles “Why Commercials Before Movies Is Worse Than Piracy“. The basic argument was this:- When you take my money for popcorn, at least I’m getting a tasty treat- When you take my cash at the box office, I’m getting to come in to watch the movie- When you take my time for commercials on TV, I’m getting a “free”...

Ratatouille Wins Top Rated Wide Release Film of 2007
via The Movie Blog by john@themovieblog.com (John Campea) on January 20, 2008
I will never back down from this statement: Ratatouille fully deserves, nay DEMANDS, to be nominated for best film of the year at the Oscars. This film was brilliant beyond all measure. It was touching, in places it was profound, and it was funny
