Multiprofiles now include Pownce, MySpace, StumbleUpon, Digg, Twitter, Flickr, Facebook, LinkedIn, and your blog.
via The Jason Calacanis Weblog by Jason Calacanis on January 28, 2008
One of the hardest parts of my day is visiting all of my social profiles on the web. Every day I load up Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Pownce, Calacanis.com, StumbleUpon, LinkedIn, Flickr, and digg. Everyday I have to tell folks where these profiles are as well. Not any more... nope, today Mahalo Social took a major step with our "multiprofiles" and added all the major services out there under on...

How to save money running a startup (17 really good tips)
via The Jason Calacanis Weblog by Jason Calacanis on March 07, 2008
The HowTo team at Mahalo has been an amazing surprise effort. We didn't plan on making howto articles, but when we built various how to search pages we realized that many howto articles were, well, lacking. So, we started building select ones where we thought we could help. This one on how to save money is very good. I've got a bunch of tips on how to do this for business. Among them:Buy...

MacBook Air early review: GAME CHANGING!
via The Jason Calacanis Weblog by Jason Calacanis on February 04, 2008
I've been using the MacBook Air for the past week and here is my early review for the hard drive version (I have the solid state drive version on order and will switching to that next week I hope). Screen: The screen is huge for an ultralight laptop. I have a MacBook and a tiny Sony Viao as my other laptops before the Air. The MacBook was big and clunky and the Viao was tiny. The MacBook Air...

Google will have 90% search market share in the US one year from now
via The Jason Calacanis Weblog by Jason Calacanis on March 06, 2008
That's an insane prediction I was told, after I made it in front of a half dozen of the most important public market investors in the tech world at a conference recently (think the largest shareholders in Yahoo and Google). It was midnight and folks were on their second or third Macallan 25*, but folks immediately sobered up.How on earth would Google raise their US market share 20 points in...

Large monitor productivity...
via The Jason Calacanis Weblog by Jason Calacanis on March 10, 2008
I've been pushing the concept of the two monitor *minimum* for a while now. At Mahalo the least amount of real estate you can have is two 24" monitors, and we're starting to push folks to three monitors (one 30 inch Dell and two 24 "wing men"). It's so clear that three monitors makes people UBER productive. I don't know about productivity dropping off with a 26-inch screen in this...
