Trailer for Tina Fey's Baby Mama.
via Blog Town, PDX by ERIK HENRIKSEN on January 15, 2008
I realize I might not exactly be in its target demographic, but goddamn does Baby Mama looks terrible. I've had a crush on Tina Fey ever since she started doing Weekend Update on SNL, and I think we can all acknowledge that her script for Mean Girls is great, and so's 30 Rock, but this just looks like one of those bland, happy little movies where the entire t

After watching the above clip, do you get the impression that "Who Let The Dogs Out?" might be the only thing Mitt Romney knows about African Americans?

Then proprietress Lindsey Ross busts out her steam-punk yarn machine, winds your...

More Persepolis
via Blog Town, PDX by ALISON HALLETT on January 24, 2008
OK, I know I already blogged about Persepolis this week, but check out Oregonian film critic Mike Russell's great comics version of his interview with Marjane Satrapi. It really captures how articulate and inspiring Satrapi is; she's pretty amazing.Hit tip to Newsarama, from whence I stole that image. My review of the film is here, unfortunately composed entirely of letters.

Obama/Morrissey '08!
via Blog Town, PDX by EZRA CARAEFF on February 04, 2008
While our dear Matt Davis has his British eyes set on some lame Obama wristband, I'm trying to get my paws on this shirt.Ok, to be fair, I'd like to get my paws on the gentleman wearing the shirt as well, but I'll take what I can get. Link courtesy of Brooklyn Vegan.Take a moment to visit End Hits, the Mercury music blog, and home to daily homoerotic musings about Morrissey.
