via |Film by orfilms@gmail.com (slashfilm.com) on February 20, 2008

Drop In Metacritic Scores Makes EA Worried [Ea]
via Kotaku by Tori Floyd on February 20, 2008
In a conference call Thursday, EA seemed pretty worried about the low scores their games have been garnering on Metacritic. The average review score for an EA game has dropped from 77 to 72 over the last year, which EA CEO John Riccitiello says is unacceptable. Nubrella – The Hands-Free Umbrella
via OhGizmo! by Luke Anderson on February 20, 2008
By Luke AndersonHow many of you carry an umbrella when it’s raining? Unless I know that I’ll be walking for long distances in the pouring rain, I won’t bother. I figure that I’ll spend more time standing in the rain closing the umbrella and trying to put it in the car than I’ll actually spend outside. If you have a thing about getting wet, you might want to check out the very...

via Lifehacker by Kevin Purdy on February 20, 2008

New Foals Video - "Cassius"
via Stereogum by Stereogum on February 20, 2008
British experts have been talkingup Foals for some time now ... or well since they started forecasting '08's breakouts. And we finally got to see 'em this past CMJ. In the video for the ultra-catchy "Cassius" from their forthcoming debut Antidotes, the post-punky dance-rock quintet pose amid hanging hearts (it's like Rocky or rope-a-dope for wimps), smash flowers percussively,...

Art Brut Also Pissed At EMI
via Stereogum by Stereogum on February 20, 2008
EMI's on anything but terra firma these days and as we've seen this past year, and now you can add Art Brut to the list of rock stars going public with their tales of label incompetence. The label has Art Brut on its back after releasing a new single for "Pump Up The Volume" without telling the band (or Christian Slater). Instead of keg standing in protest, Eddie Argos posted a complaint...

via Cinematical by James Rocchi on February 20, 2008
Filed under: Action, Thrillers, New Releases, Sony, Theatrical ReviewsLike many recent thrillers, Vantage Point is set against the war on terror, as U.S. President Ashton (William Hurt) arrives in Salamanca, Spain to announce new international treaties and efforts in the fight against freedom's enemies.
