The 15 Most Annoying Game Characters [Humor]
via Kotaku by Mike Fahey on February 18, 2008
Hey! ...Listen! Cracked.com, "America's Only Humor & Video Site Since 1958", has taken it upon themselves to put together a list of the 15 most annoying game characters from games that were otherwise excellent. It's the kind of article you read while nodding your head sympathetically, hopefully in between sentences because it's hard to read and nod at the same time. My personal most...

via Kotaku by Brian Ashcraft on February 18, 2008
So, yes, the 1UP team (including EGM and Games for Windows) have ditched the 1-10 review scale. Whew, good! As we previously posted, in their place will be a school-like grading system, with titles ranked between A+ and F. R.I.P. TVT
via Stereogum by Stereogum on February 18, 2008
Yeah, the industry keeps on shifting. TVT, the New York-based independent label that brought us Nine Inch Nails back in the day, has reportedly "terminated" most of its employees and is filing for Chapter 11. Looks like the Polyphonic Spree, Pitbull, Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz, Pitbull, Ambulance LTD, and Ying Yang Twins are without a home. Still no word on how this will affect Lil'...

via Consumerist by Ben Popken on February 18, 2008
This college grad decided to live on the streets with just $25 and a gym bag to see if he could make it without any of the trappings of his upbringing, privileges, or contacts. After 10 months, he was moving into an apartment, bought a pickup truck, and had a savings of around $5,000. The point of the story is supposed to be that people are poor because they have bad attitudes. Which is...
