Celtics Rout Lakers for 17th NBA Title
via Daring Fireball by John Gruber on June 18, 2008

With the Knitting Factory looking for a new home, and Luna Lounge being closed since April, all signs are pointing to the former moving into the latter. via Daring Fireball by John Gruber on June 17, 2008
So today’s supposed to be the big day for Firefox 3 — the official release, and a much-publicized but idiotic attempt to break the “world record” for downloads in a 24-hour period. Their web servers have been offline for hours. ★

Why You Should Carry a Digital Camera At All Times [Nature]
via Gizmodo by Adam Frucci on June 16, 2008
Last Tuesday, Lori Mehmen looked out her front door in Orchard, Iowa and this is what she saw. She had a digital camera handy, and somehow managed to take this photo before crapping her pants and taking cover. This, my friends, is why always having a camera nearby is handy. Oh, and no one was injured during this tornado, fortunately. [NY Times]
