Phone cord sheep sculptures
via MAKE Magazine by Becky Stern on May 07, 2008

Monitor Google's Homepage with Page2RSS
via Google Operating System by Ionut Alex Chitu on May 05, 2008

Pranksters (?) hood a Google Street View cam with a plastic bag
via Boing Boing by Cory Doctorow on May 08, 2008
David sez, "Someone put a plastic bag over the camera cluster on one of Google's Street View cars, and the resulting imagery seems to have made it right through to Google Maps."Of course, maybe the bag just blew over the cameras. We can be quite sure this is a plastic bag too, because it actually says “plastic bag” on it. RSSmeme Now Pulls In Your Notes
via benjamingolub.com by Benjamin Golub on May 06, 2008
... I quickly got started adding notes into RSSmeme. Google didn’t make it difficult to pull this information out of the feed and I’m happy to report that notes are now fully integrated into RSSmeme.Click the “Read Notes” link on this page to see how it works. I wanted to keep the notes out of the way because they aren’t really crucial.Big thanks to the Google Reader team for this!

via TechCrunch by Mark Hendrickson on May 06, 2008
For web developers, and especially front-end coders, the Firefox extension Firebug by Facebook’s Joe Hewitt is a killer app and major time saver. It lets you deconstruct the webpage currently loaded into Firefox to get a better idea of how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript needs to be modified to work properly (and it can even make changes to CSS on the fly).Opera has just released a competing set of...
