First swing by Miguel Cabrera as Detroit Tiger produced a home run of at least 450 feet Tuesday against Florida Southern College.Cabrera's blast traveled two-thirds of the way up the movie-screen-sized black background board the Detroit News reported."It was impressive, no question about that," Detroit manager Jim Leyland said. "But he didn't even get it that good."

Over the next few days, we'll see the release of both MLB '08: The Show (Feb. 29) and MLB 2K8 (March 4). The respective RBI Baseball and Bases Loaded of this generation, the two titles are the only MLB-licensed releases for this season and each has a camp of devoted fans.
