via The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW) by Joshua Ellis on June 16, 2008
Filed under: Analysis / Opinion, Humor, iPhoneGizmodo's Jesus Diaz has a wonderful solution to the problem of videoconferencing on your 3G iPhone: compact, convenient and battery-free!Okay, we get it: a camera on the front of the iPhone is probably a pretty useful idea. Although there's something oddly compelling about turning a videoconferencing session on the iPhone into a Morris Day...

Toyota chief: refrain from using PowerPoint
via Presentation Zen by (author unknown) on May 29, 2008
... to show self-restraint and stop the wasteful practice of using PowerPoint for the creation of documents (what I call slideuments). The CEO made this statement while talking about the need to reduce costs at Toyota. He is reminding employees to be cost conscious and he used the practice of using PowerPoint as an example of waste. ... in and review every single executive order issued by George Bush and overturn those laws or executive decisions that I feel violate the constitution," said Obama.It would be rather refreshing to have someone in the oval office who'd actually taught constitutional law rather than someone who couldn't find the 4th amendment with both hands and a map.Read the comments on this post...

Twitter for Wiki’s
via The Workstreamer Blog by (author unknown) on May 12, 2008
Shared by Ben This is awesome. While...

via Scobleizer -- Tech geek blogger by Robert Scoble on February 28, 2008
Wow, just spent an hour walking through some of Annie Leibowitz’ new photography at her just-opened exhibition at San Francisco’s Legion of Honor museum. She gives us a tour and I bring you along with a front-row look. Thank you to Qik and my Nokia cell phone for making this kind of video possible. Unfortunately I could only record about 40 minutes or so of her walk through the museum, but...

Microsoft=Success; Google Docs=Fail?
via Scobleizer -- Tech geek blogger by Robert Scoble on February 23, 2008
I’m usually on the lookout for new shiny objects. New ways of doing things that turn out to be better than the old way. A post on ReadWriteWeb demonstrates why Google’s online word processor and spreadsheets aren’t as good as Microsoft’s stuff. Richard MacManus said it brought about one of the funniest quotes on a blog comment ever: “Google docs is chock full of FAIL.” I can see where...
