Scaling Yourself
via [chrisbrogan.com] by chrisbrogan on February 12, 2008
Probably the most difficult challenge I’ve had to deal with since last autumn until now is learning how to do everything that needs doing in a day as demands on my time and my roles have changed. It’s been difficult, and along the way, I let down a few people, friends who wanted my best effort, and who got a really pale rendition of what I can do and offer instead. That was hard to swallow,...

The Indiana Jones 4 Trailer Is Out
via ParisLemon by MG Siegler on February 13, 2008
The official Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulltrailer was posted online today. Great stuff. Gives you a brief Indiana Jones history lesson before cueing up one of the best theme songs in cinematic history.I've had my doubts about a 60+ year old Harrison Ford almost 20 years removed from the last film, but this looks great. Great cast too, Ray Winstone as one of Indiana...

Escalator Ads Are the Most Awkward Way to Advertise [Badvertising]
via Gizmodo by Adam Frucci on February 13, 2008
Here's a creepy way to advertise a hair salon: stick the lower half of some guys face at the bottom of an escalator, and place various hairstyles on the stairs. As the escalator moves, said guy gets a new haircut with every stair that passes by. Creative? Yes, definitely. Unsettling? Oh hell yes. It's at a mall in Mumbai, so it's not like I'm going to be forced to see it anytime...

The Google Myth Rolls to Mobile
via Russell Beattie’s Weblog by Russell Beattie on February 13, 2008
The greatest hoax ever played on the Internet is the idea that Google's growth was somehow "natural" or "viral", and that the strength of their search results alone is what propelled them to their insane 70% market share. I've even seen videos of Googlers listening to speakers come in and tell them this myth, and I'm sure many of today's current employees think it's the...

The Original Xbox Logo Was Blue (No Surprise) [Microsoft]
via Kotaku by Mark Wilson on February 13, 2008
When most of us think "Xbox," we think green, or, "sickly green" as it was recently described to me by Microsoft's marketing team from Wunderman. And it's an important point, since green has been the unifying theme between Xbox and Xbox 360...as well as between Xbox and Halo, where we see the color shared by the box's "X" and Master Chief himself. But green wasn't always intended...
