UTF-8成为主流的问题

...，这些都是编码不统一造成的毛病，今后就一了百了了（希望吧）。但iconv这种编码转换工具显然还有改进的空间。除了习惯力量大，结构复杂尾大不掉之外，没有特别好的转换工具也许是造成许多大站不敢转向Unicode的一个小原因吧。当然，如果微软的产品缺省全部都转用Unicode的话，就一了百了了。

Google如何评价Blog的重要性

...PageRank。为了惩罚这种情况，Google会降低该文章或博客的重要性。广告：如果一个博客含有过多的广告，它的重要性会降低。另外，一般博客会包括三方面的内容：最近发表的文章；blogroll和metadata（比如博主的信息）。通常广告会放在blogroll或metadata部分。对于放在文章部分的广告，Google会予以惩罚。

... Page的所有内容都是其所有者主动提交的，而其它的LifeStreaming服务则大都是被动记录的内容。从这个角度来说，Google Reader目前的做法可能更有利于减少信息的冗余。对我来说，Twitter在很大程度上替代了RSS Reader的功能；而现在看来，Google Reader似乎也可以在某种程度上替代Twitter。很有意思。
