via Webware.com by Ina Fried on February 03, 2008

via ReadWriteWeb by Marshall Kirkpatrick on February 03, 2008
I love me some screenscaping and mashups and data portability, but when it comes to personal information things get a little more complicated.I'm in San Francisco today at Dappercamp, an event concerning a tool that's always got the rights of those it interfaces with in mind as an issue. Keynote speaker Mitch Kapor just told the group that the foundations of the web are sharing and...

via ParisLemon by MG Siegler on February 02, 2008
... OS market share to Apple (slightly more kidding). The latest numbers from Net Applications now have OS X at over 7.5% of the market. But as Apple 2.0 notes the real news may be that at the end of last month, the share was over 8% for the first time. Nintendo Wiimote, Make My Day [Mods]
via Gizmodo by Mark Wilson on February 02, 2008
The Wiimote is alright and everything, but what good is all the motion control in the world if you can't pistol-whip player 2? This Colt .45 Wiimote mod doesn't make the Wiimote fire bullets, but with this much "gunmetal" aluminum plate, the police will goomba-stomp your ass before you can say "Duck Hunt" anyway. [projects]

via Gizmodo by Haroon Malik on February 02, 2008
In what appears to be an embarrassing error, the Italian parliament may have accidentally legalized P2P music downloads. The controversy arises from the definition of the word "degraded."Andrea Monti, an Italian copyright attorney, said all music sold...
