Toshiba's Qosmio G40 plans to use Cell/B.E. processor this year: Toshiba is expected to release a notebook PC, the Qosmio G40, later in 2008 that will sport a SpursEngine SE1000 chip based on the Cell Broadband Engine. The SpursEngine can do high-def video encoding and decoding of MPEG-2 and H.264 streams and its multimedia engine can deliver up to 48gflops (12gflops per processing element)....
