Rule #23: Never Rent a Car to the Host of Dirty Jobs
via The Bachelor Guy by (author unknown) on May 15, 2008
Or, after seeing this clip, rent him a hotel room.I've returned rental cars in some sad shape. But nothing like Mike Rowe after a day of filming Dirty Jobs. Axle grease, mud, cow shit... I know they are running out of show...

via Engadget by Joshua Topolsky on May 05, 2008
Filed under: WirelessIt looks like Verizon isn't taking those 700MHz spectrum open access rules very seriously, and a certain competing bidder isn't real happy. In a petition filed with the FCC by Google, the company alleges that Verizon is willfully ignoring the "plain meaning of the [open access] rule" by suggesting it will allow one type of access for users who use Verizon-approved...

Punctuality Counts
via Stepcase Lifehack by Dustin Wax on May 14, 2008
For years, I could be counted on to be late. Got a lunch meeting at 11:30 am? Dustin will be there at 11:40. Got a class at 9:00am? Dustin will be there at 9:20. Is there a meeting at 6:00 pm? Dustin’s there by 6:30. Work hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm? I’m in by 9:00.People joked about it. It was my “thing” — I was on “Dustin time”. It was all very funny — until I realized that the...
