via RB | Upcoming | min 3 by (author unknown) on February 17, 2008

And, the market doesn't care how good the team is, as long as the team can produce that viable product....Conversely, in a terrible market, you can have the best product in the world and an absolutely killer team, and it doesn't matter -- you're going t...

via Scobleizer -- Tech geek blogger by Robert Scoble on February 14, 2008
It’s not often that I see software that really changes my world. It’s even rarer that I see software that I know will change the world my sons live in. I can count those times pretty easily. The first time I saw an Apple II in 1977. When Richard Cameron showed me Apple’s Hypercard. Microsoft’s Excel. Aldus’ Pagemaker. And something called Photoshop, all in his West Valley Community...

The Laser Elevator
via Feedheads | top shared by xkcd on February 15, 2008
Solar sails suck.In the paper Laser Elevator: Momentum Transfer Using an Optical Resonator, Thomas R. Indiana Jones IV Trailer Makes Us Wet Our Pants [Indy]
via Gizmodo by Jesus Diaz on February 14, 2008
Here's the trailer for the most anticipated movie of all time, at least for me: Indiana Jones IV. We knew there are going to be aliens and Soviet soldiers led by Kate Blanchett, but one thing is seeing those made of LEGO and the other is to actually see how all looks like. Which is, amazing. Let's hope it is as good as it feels now. And yes, there are no weird mechanical traps and gadgets...

via Matt Cutts: Gadgets, Google, and SEO by Matt Cutts on February 12, 2008
I thought I’d play hooky from a meeting and talk about how the newest version of the Toolbar handles 404 pages for users, because I see some people writingaboutit this morning. We tried to give a heads-up in a couple places. The Toolbar beta 5 announcement on the Google blog mentioned “You’ll get suggestions instead of error pages: If you mistype a URL or a page is down, now the Toolbar will...
