Share and Annotate Web Pages in Google Reader
via Google Operating System by Ionut Alex Chitu on May 06, 2008
Google Reader's sharing feature was barely noticed when it was added, then it got more exposure when the shared items started to be broadcasted to Google Talk contacts and somesites aggregated shared posts. As Google Reader became more social, people discovered that it has some important limitations. "Have you ever wanted to share something that you were reading, but you didn't want to go...

Free or Open Source Imaging Solutions
via Daily Cup of Tech by Tim Fehlman on May 06, 2008
Many of you are familiar with the concept of computer imaging. Essentially, you take a system, configure it the way that you would like, and then duplicate the hard drive to all of the other systems, saving yourself all of the same steps that you did on the first system. Now, there are a lot of great commercial software programs out there that can do this for you. Acronis and Ghost come to mind. ...

via Consumerist by Jay Slatkin on May 07, 2008

Zoo: Adolf Hitler Is A Babe And She's Melting
via PhotoshopDisasters by Cosmo7 on April 07, 2008
Gemma Atkinson gets some rough treatment from this tawdry babeblog. It looks like her right hand is a flip of the left, or would have been if the artist hadn't quietly given up. I have no idea what they were trying to remove, but the unfortunate shadow under her nose suggests a whiff of the third reich. All in all, probably not the best combination for titillation. Thanks to Mr Price for the...

Laptop Lunchbox
via Cool Tools by (author unknown) on February 27, 2008
Since I started using this bento-style lunchbox to take my meals to work, I have found it's made me much more particular about what I eat. I've never been one to spend much time in the kitchen, and I recently realized I was eating way too much junk/restaurant food as a result. I decided if I were to present my meals in an appealing way, I might pay more attention and start eating better....

Adam Pash via Lifehacker shared by 3 peopleDIY web site Instructables details how to turn a $3 hands-free phone headset into a remote shutter trigger for your digital camera. The trigger described in the tutorial should work with most digital cameras with a 2.5mm plug for remote triggering (including the popular Canon Rebel). From start to finish the project takes about five minutes, and you...
