For Those Who Tried To Rock project
via Boing Boing by David Pescovitz on May 20, 2008
For Those Who Tried To Rock is a brilliant new project to tell the "sonic history of the American pop band." Eight Ways To Fix Torchwood
via Solar Flare: Science Fiction News by (author unknown) on May 07, 2008
Shared by James AgreedI had planned on writing a review of the Torchwood season 2 finale earlier this week. Unfortunately I came away from the episode with really mixed feelings. In many ways this final episode epitomized my feelings on the season as a whole. On the one hand, it was far and away superior to the first season which was a huge disappointment to me. But for every bit that hit the...

via Signal vs. Noise by David on April 30, 2008
Forgoing sleep is like borrowing from a loan shark. Sure you get that extra hours right now to cover for your overly-optimistic estimation, but at what price? The shark will be back and if you can’t pay, he’ll break your creativity, morale, and good-mannered nature as virtue twigs. Now we all borrow occasionally and that’s okay if you fully understand the consequences and don’t make it a...
