UV Light Kills Germs, Chance Of Being Normal
via Geekologie - Gadgets, Gizmos, and Awesome by (author unknown) on March 03, 2008
This handheld UV scanner costs $30 and runs on 4 AAA batteries. You wave it over an object you're going to touch and it kills 99.9% of germs. But I've got news for you -- it's that 0.01% of germs that'll kill you. No, seriously -- those are the ones that are so tough nothing can faze them. It's actually funny that I found this online because an ex-neighbor of mine had one...

Minivan Is Mega Fun, Jet Engine Powered
via Geekologie - Gadgets, Gizmos, and Awesome by (author unknown) on March 03, 2008
This Dodge Caravan isn’t your standard stock vehicle. No sir -- this bad boy is packing a jet engine. It does an 1/8 mile in 7.65 seconds and is way cooler than the van my mom used to drive me to school in. It even has a mechanism that opens the window and positions the jet engine out the back when you're ready for takeoff (see second video). The rest of the time you can drive around like...

La noche de los ciberzombis mercenarios
via Kriptópolis - Criptografía, Privacidad y Seguridad en Internet by igor21 on February 28, 2008

Eyeball Tattoos Give Me The Heebie Jeebies
via Geekologie - Gadgets, Gizmos, and Awesome by (author unknown) on February 27, 2008
A Toronto man nicknamed Pauly Unstoppable has been the first person to receive an experimental "eyeball tattoo". Basically a tattoo artist injected blue ink into Pauly's eye until it was completely blue -- some 40+ injections! Holy hellfire, shit and brimstone this guy is freaking nuts. Pauly had the following to say about the experience:I really have to emphasize again that the procedure...

Steampunk Taxidermy Is As Disturbing As You Probably Imagined, Maybe Even More So
via Geekologie - Gadgets, Gizmos, and Awesome by (author unknown) on February 27, 2008
I love steampunk. I don't love steampunk taxidermy. The two go together about as well as my privates and a spiked bat. Which, from experience, is a painful match up. I'm sure there are some of you out there that can really appreciate these, but you're sickos. One more of a ferret after the jump, but you'll have to hit the gallery link to see the rest, I have morals and...
