Rarely does a week go by that I don't hear from someone who wants to add Google Maps to their Flash application. Well, we've been listening and working to provide the solution. Say hello to the new Google Maps API for Flash.
Here is an example from AFComponentsthat demonstrates some of the Flash functionality you can build into your applications now that Google Maps can be developed in ActionScript 3. Click on the "Show Photo Gallery" icon to see it in action.In just a matter of days, they were able to convert their existing JavaScript + Flash application to take advantage of this new API and provide their users with an updated experience.
