There was a lot of controversy in the LP back when I was a member as to whether Bob Barr should have been allowed in given his past positions on the Drug War. Like most LP campaigns, these factions will likely rise up during the convention and completely sabotage yet another good potential candidate for the party. I so friggin' hate politics these days.Just when things looked like the might settle down. Former Republican Bob Barr jumped into the Presidential Follies, running as a Libertarian. I'm not sure if this will take the center ring for more than a few pratfalls, or just be a perpetual side show. But it should be entertaining to say the least as the speculation will be how many votes he'll take from McCain.
